Today at 9:32 am (Russia time) we made a safe landing in an overcast Moscow, Russia. We were able to exchange a little money for some rubals. After that we were greeted by Pasha outside the airport.
We waived down a little car with a trailer attached and Pasha took us on a little tour of Moscow.
The driver of the car had a Russian rock station playing in the background and to our surprise it played a couple of
tunes in english such as ones called, "You're in the Army Now" and "Pick up the Phone." We had fun singing along to the repetitiveness.
Pastor Jeff and Christina in the car!
During our tour we made a stop and the local McDonald's, which all of us must say, was delightful.
We ended the day with checking into our hotel which from Jerry's and my room has a spectacular view. We also attended Calvary Chapel Vladimir's wednesday night service and got to have tea afterwards.
I'd like to encourage you to keep reading the mission's blog as it has some exciting updates coming.
Thanks for the prayers and God Bless,
Caleb and the 2011 Russia Team
Aaauurrghhh! (I am going insane with envy!) Heretofore, I was, but currently I am only anxious to see the Lord using you all. We pray that Jet Lag’s cloud will be quickly burned away, leaving you clear and bright! I know the Lord will work Mightily through you. The Lord bless you and keep you in His will, and may He place His hand upon you and be gracious to you on your mission in His name! Good job on the blog, Caleb! God bless you, my dear brothers and sisters!
