Awesome day!

What an awesome day we had! Praise the Lord for the strength we have through Him. Towards the end of our traveling, we had a three hour bus ride to our final destination. However, we were rejuvenated after we arrived at Maxx's house, which is where we spent the night. Maxx is a Marine who is stationed in Japan (maybe for such a time as this). Maxx has been a GREAT help in the local Church with disaster relief, and such a blessing to us. We went to a restaurant for supper and had authentic Japanese noodles. They were very good!! We slept on these little mattresses on the floor, and in the morning we woke up early, did our personal devotions, ate breakfast (which Maxx cooked), and went for a walk. It was great! We went into a convenience store and shared the Gospel with the woman who was working there. We handed out some tracts and started to walk back to the house. On the way back, we saw a woman walking up to "pray" to a shrine. The team prayed while the one of the Pocatello team shared with her. She said she was praying to the shrine because she lived in the area. She accepted a tract, which said in Japanese that there was one God who created the heavens and the earth. Pray for both her and the woman in the convenience store, that the Holy Spirit would use our time with them and the material they received to bring them to the true and living God. We are right now driving down the road to Sendai, posting this via a mobile Internet "hot spot". The trip will last around six hours, but we are all feeling well. We go bound in the Spirit, and we know that the Lord will use us for His good.

We appreciate your loving prayers and we know God is hearing them in the same way that we would hear a face-to-face conversation.

God bless you...

Ron, Herb, Kelli, Tanya, and Ben
