Stan and Sandy in Africa

Hello Friends,

We wanted to give everyone a quick update. We went to Kiebera again today. I got to teach at the beauty salon to 20 women! It was a wonderful time, which lasted about 3 hours. Then I (Sandi) went back to the church for the Woman's Bible Study and Fellowship while Stan and Dave continued to go deeper into Kiebera for home visits. I (Sandi) heard a wonderful testimony today from one of the women! I will have to share when we get home. Stan will teach again tonight, so pray for him. In addition, pray for pastor Dave's wife. She has been suffering from headaches and is seeing a doctor. After service tonight they have an afterglow planned. We are so excited for that! We both are having a blessed time here (but it is going fast).

Love,

Stan & Sandi

Stan and Sandi in Africa!

Hello, our beloved brothers and sisters!
Stan and I have safely arrived in Africa and things are going great! Stan taught the Sunday morning service, and the message was inspiring. It was clear that the Holy Spirit blessed both us, and the body of believers in Africa. After Stan was finished, we were informed by one of the missionaries (Jamie) that many came to get the recording of his teaching. Thank you for all your prayers! Sunday became a long day of ministry... we started at 8am and arrived home around 8:30pm. Sweet rest during the night, God is good! On Monday, we went out to do home visits in the Kiebera slums. The visits consisted of fellowship, prayer, and the giving of a gift.  In addition, we heard testimony from a local named "Mama" Lucy. We will share pictures and more when we return. We also visited the three different homes belonging to woman in the local church. Caleb would be so proud of Natasha (from Russia). She led worship beautifully by bringing everyone into the presence of the Lord. We love hearing the worship in other countries! Even though you don't know the words, you recognize the music (it is so special). We love being here with the people... they truly serve the Lord and His loved ones. Enough for now, please continue to pray as we seek God's will for us.
In Christ,
Stan & Sandi
